I just got off the phone with the Hotel. They had a room with a single king bed available for Friday and Saturday night, but nothing for Thursday night.

She said that the block of rooms Big D reserved went back on the market about a month ago. So much for having the entire hotel blocked off.

well DUH!!, you wait until a week away and expect the rooms to still be held for you... you know better than that..

BigD had told us at dinner last week, (the one you missed), rooms where still available due to the fact he reserved the entire hotel. Which would be the reason for me announcing that the hotel didn't quite see it that way. Now don't piss me off or I will line up beside you in the first round and put you out of the race.
