    dboat's dyno numbers

    $25 for three pulls.. did mine back to back with virtually no rest between pulls.. the numbers were very close to Keith Craft.. it is a bit hotter though...
    Kwik Kar___ Keith Craft
    First Pull
    370.5 hp____372.10 hp
    434.8 tq____436.94 tq

    Second Pull
    364.4 hp____367.81 hp
    431.5 tq____425.79 tq

    Third Pull
    361.4 hp____365.88 hp
    423.8 tq_____422.88 tq

    a/f ratios ran in the low 13's..

    This makes me feel pretty comfortable about where my truck is right now esp since it is so hot here now.. when I get to PA and the high temp is in the 70's, I will try to find out about any dyno's up there... lower temps should be good for some more power..

    Comments anyone?

    I guess it wouldn't hurt if I put my two cents in here. Bone stock with a little over 5,000 miles on the engine.

    I'm pushing just a little more than that now, just need to go in for the new dyno run.

    Talking My run today.

    2001 Lightning, 40k miles;
    Magnaflow cat-back, with Corsa s-s tips;
    A.R.E. hard tonneau;
    bone stock otherwise.

    According to the rep who was on-hand, the tranny/driveline accounts for an 18% loss, which translates to:

    356.1hp/(1-.18) = 434.3 crank hp
    and
    425.4 ft-lbs/(1-.18) = 518.8 crank torque

    Holy snit. I had no idea.

    There were Cobras (both '03s and '04s) that were running in the neighborhood of 400 hp, with the highest being 460 RWHP (with a 15% driveline loss on them, translates to 541 crank HP). But I was torque king 'til another Lightning rolled on, running a CAI, single-blade throttle body, cat-back, chip, and 4# pulley, and he pulled 400 RWHP and 510 ft-lbs tq (488 and 620, respectively).

    Like I said, I had no idea what these darn things are capable of. O. M. F. G.

    Damn, I love my truck!! YEE-HAW!

    I just got my first tuning dyno on Go_dzila. My first run was with the fuel cell and the big Weldon pump on 93 octane. The tune was set up for the street pumps which ran at 40 psi but the Weldon put out 45 psi and caused me to run very rich. On the first run, I had a lot of ignition break down and also some blower belt slippage. Run 2 was done in second gear where as the first run was in third. The second run was with the street system and 93 octane and had less ignition break down and a very nice F/A but made less HP. Conditions were hot and humid! For those that are unfamiliar with Go_dzila, it is a 4.6L Regular ole F150!
