Expy Console Mod

Am thinking of doing the expy console mod. However, I dont know how they fit in regard to space behind them once they are in. If anyone here has the console mod, would you post up pics with the seats pulled forward so that I might bet a sense of how much space is between the console and the back of the cab?

No pics, but there was enough room behind the console to mount a mobile police radio and still have some space before the rear cab wall.

Thanks guys, this is exactly what I needed. Currently, I have the original plastic box that contains the remote CD player in it along with other items. I really like having the storage for various items, plus I keep an umbrella and my front window shade on top.. I just needed to know if there was still going to be room to do this after the conversion.. and it looks good from here..

Should be good to go. I had the same factory storage box and kept my sunshade behind the seats, too. No 'brella, but there woulda' been room.

I have a subbox behind my Expy console. If I remember correctly, it was 7 inches at the bottom and 4 inches at the top, and there was still a bit of room between the console and the subbox. So you should have plenty of room.
