I wondered the same thing. It looks like he is one of the sponsoring vendors.

well i wanted to go to LF it would have been my first but the ass holes at work said we are short handed so i just wanted to say have fun and a safe trip.:tu:
Visiting some sites in Wichita today and noticed out friends at the toll booth already waiting for the convoy with ticket books in hand everyone please remember KS troopers man the booths and the approaching speed limit is 35
That is nothing but chicken http://www.svtgalleries.net/gallery/data/500/sh_t.gif right there:flaming:. Those cock suckers are giving tickets out to people for approaching the booth to quick???
It is the departing acceleration limit I am concerned about:icon_mrgreen:
Looks like I'm in. I have a couple loose ends to tie up, but the plan is to go. Maybe we can talk my old nemisis into going as well. You should go Mr. Hogge. I want to see if you can repeat that mid ten pass. Your going to have to if you want to beat me this time:eek:.
PS......Doug, let me know if Big D wants to throw anything on the trailer.
Looks like I won't be able to make it :icon_confused:
I doubt it...:icon_eek:
I just got off the phone with the Hotel. They had a room with a single king bed available for Friday and Saturday night, but nothing for Thursday night. :hammer:
She said that the block of rooms Big D reserved went back on the market about a month ago. So much for having the entire hotel blocked off.
Long-range weather forcast...
http://www.weather.com/outlook/homea...10DayLink_home
weather looks good and Rocks I have an Extra bed in my room at the hotel for Thursday night if you need
FYI according to my Wife I fart and snore sometimes during slumber:tex
Then we have alot in common:rll:. We should probably turn the AC to the ventilation mode for Thursday night;).
I appreciate it. They have me on a list for any openings Thursday night, but I am not usually that lucky. I will take the offer and I will also pay for half of that night:tu:.
BigD had told us at dinner last week, (the one you missed:icon_rolleyes:), rooms where still available due to the fact he reserved the entire hotel. Which would be the reason for me announcing that the hotel didn't quite see it that way. Now don't piss me off or I will line up beside you in the first round and put you out of the race:evil.
Don't forget about race jackets, just bought mine at Smiley's.
Nice place, easy to find.
There is a Smileys location on Kennedal Hwy north of the rack as well SteveO. They have a wide selection.
Watch for those ball sucking, foot tapping bathroom stall delinquent cops. They slow 287 business to 35mph or less for sport:mad:
All I see for right now is you running your mouth. What we will see in Kansas is you running back to the pits so you can get your street tires back on in time to watch me running in the final round. Hows that sound for some "running"?
Rocks....that's Mr. Rocks to you...:d
With all this concern over fire jackets and helmet dates, I am wondering if the same concern is going to be placed on the rules concerning roll bars.
The fire jacket rule is being taken to a level of ignorance. The spirit of the rule concerning fire jackets and after market blowers was meant to apply to vehicles that did not come stock with a blower...(of any kind). Only the most dumb ass of tracks applies this rule to a vehicle that comes with a blower from the factory, such as the Gen 2 Lightning.
Anyway....I went off for a minute there. Which I have a tendency to do when I see stupidity. The real curiosity will be if they follow the below 11.5 roll bar rule. For instance...in the actual race, anyone running an 11.499 without a bar is done...looses..out of the race. Hit the road running.
I'm not interested in running under 11.5 just so I can say I got thrown off the track. When I expect to run a sub 11.5 run, I will have a roll bar. I think at this point, I have sufficiently improved my drive train enough to allow me to get tune to sub 11.5 second pass, but for now, I'm not interested in approaching that threshold. My $.02.
I and do Agree with Ron on the fire jacket/roll bar issue. Straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel as far as I'm concerned.
