Just depends on when my son decides to show up.
im in:tu:
I doubt that we will make it, but we will try. I have been to Austin the last two weekends and will be in Waco this weekend. I need a weekend at home, but Stacy will probably want to go see her new niece in Round Rock. If she makes me go then we will also hit the Classic.
If we are there Stacy will probably run it down the track.
I'm in!!!!
Plan to be there with the 99L I bought from Ed. My quick L is presently torn down.
Bob, glad you are planning on making it. At least your truck is torn down and not up. :cool:Quote:

We should be sure we cover some of the safety stuff in the drivers meeting
NOT turning in front of another driver at the end of the track is a BIG one.
We will have our own driver's meeting prior to the race as usual. Safety will be the #1 topic. :tu:Quote:

Then sum guy tackled me to the ground and told me ijust had a wreck..Quote:

Warning to all.....my truck doesn't stop very fast at the big end. I take damn near the entire run off to get slowed down enough to turn....in the name of all that's Holy...please don't turn in front of me. I will probably ram you.
Rocks:beer:
I normaly let the faster car/ or car thats ahead of me to turn first then i decided what to do.. You always have to keep your eyes open.
Thats why i dont like the idea of folding your mirrors in cause you cant see what the guy behind you is doing, which could have been the reason for the accident in the halo club.
I just think it is safest to let the guy in the lane where the turnoff is exit first, regardless of how fast he is. I've sat at the end of the track just like Rocks has said waiting for that guy. It's just good policy to do that, and that way you don't rammed in the ass.
By the way, I am a definite maybe for the event. Got some family matters to take care of soon, and don't know if I'll be able to free myself up in time to go to the Classic. Talked to Rocks today and he tried guilting me into going, so we'll just see...no guarantees. If I can't make it, I've all ready made arrangements for the group pics that have been paid for to be taken down and distributed, so don't worry.

LOL..........I was just giving you a small dose of guilt. Just wait until I really get going... .
Hope you can get it worked out...but I will always believe that family commitments come before racing.

You guys are right on target. The inside guy (nearest the turn lane) has right of way. Very simple to just stay in your lane after the finish. The guy in the far lane usually has a solid white stripe that is suppose to send the message DO NOT CROSS THE SOLID LINE, but things happen. I think a friendly reminder will be in order at the TFC.
