Actually I just got done washing all the dirt off from all the rain we had the past week.

We are going to swap out the Front Springs Monday and hope that helps out the ride a little more with the new shocks we put on over the winter. I still need to find a deal on a good air chisel so I can take the factory leaf spring brackets off and replace them as they are just about to fall apart.

I never realized how bad my front springs were until I replaced them. It made a big difference in the ride quality.

Wow what a job it was to put the new springs in. Had a spring compressor that didn't work and even tried a strut compressor as well, no go. Ended up unbolting the front sway bar and dropping the rotor and all down and the springs went right in with a little help with a hammer and a crowbar. I still have a little bow left but not as bad. I am going to take it to get the camber adjusted to get it finished up. The truck actually sits up about a 1/8 of a inch higher and sets more level. Next up is to find a new sway bar complete with new bushings. LMC has a sway bar for the truck, but it says it won't work on the Lightning only the regular F-150's.

"The truck actually sits up about a 1/8 of a inch higher and sets more level." If I'm not mistaken, they will break in and set a lil lower after some miles on them.

I'm sure they will come down some after a while. But still need to get it aligned so it don't screw up my tires I put on just before winter weather hit hard.

I did make a trip to Harbor Freight today and got some body tools to work on the cab tomorrow. I am going to try and knock out some of the dents and put the Gen. 2 Style dome light in. I will get the bulbs for it tonight at work so I don't have to make a trip up there tomorrow.

Well I got the lights swapped out. Lot more work than on a G2. truck that's for sure. Pictures didn't come out to well with the phone as they look way better in person and at night they are brighter being there is no haze to them like the ones we took out.

Got a little more work done today. Replaced the side view mirror's. One was broke and it took a dremel tool to get one of the bolts out and while we were at it. We replaced the interior door handles as well. The second picture came out a little blurry but still can see how good they look.
