Ahhh cool...not too far from me. What is it that you like about Texas a lot more? I can say one thing that I don't like about Texas around Houston...TOLLS!!! Damn they sure have enough of them!

I lived in Houston for 35 yrs.. but the toll roads are becoming a way of life.. however, just go visit Florida for some real toll road action.. although, I would be better with toll roads if they didnt have speed limits.

during my time in KC, it seemed places closed too early, there wasnt a friendly climate towards businesses. There were not enough independent restaraunts (except steak and BBQ). Traffic was pretty bad and there didnt seem to be any real movement to fix the issue. The folks we met there were very nice though.. the weather wasnt too bad either..
