I didn't count exactly, but this is somewhere around 750 US flags. Each one is made with a 10' section of 3/4" conduit with a 3'x5' nylon flag attached. Flags are bundled into groups of 10, zip tied together, and then a canvas cover placed over the flags. Dunno', but I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000 lbs????? It wasn't on the bump stops, but the overload spring was definitely compressed. The only thing that concened me was the tailgate straps, but everything held fine. :tu:

Did a count, and that's 730 flags. each bundle weighs 45 lbs, so the load was 3,285 lbs. :eek:

I found my old thread and in this case you were carrying more than I. But we both know my truck does more work as it is the XLT of the bunch.
It was 37 bags for a total of 2960 lbs. Our rated payload is 2950 in the bed. Of course as you can see in my pics I was not touching the load leaf yet. It is hard to believe a load of flags weighs more than 40 bags of concrete:eek2: .
