well...i think im ready to start making baby steps on modding my L.

i need to change the belt and figured this would be a good time to add a little power. i am only interested in going one size smaller(?) than stock. the mod must not require additional upgrades.

if anyone knows a good place to purchase a pulley and/or belt, you info would be greatly appreciated.http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

also, please share any experiences with using a pulley system that the pulleys can be easily swapped (from a 2# to a 4#). i understand that additional mods will probably be needed for such an upgrade (4#) .

many thanks

I've got a 2# in the garage. I started out fairly conservative myself. :D

I think most of us have a 2# lying around somewhere. I've got one in the garage as well.

Get an interchangeable. I've got the Metco Interchageable, it takes about 10 mins to swap from 2-10#'s or anywhere in between.

I have a 2,4,6 and 10 # ring for mine.

Terry can hook you up with one.

dont you hate when you've typed up a long response only to hit the thumb (back) button and loose it all?>:flaming: (stupid computers..er...users)...nevermind:mad:

i guess that answers my question...
i'm going to get performance to install a universal pulley w/ a 2# & a new belt...probably have them replace the plugs while they're at it.

last week, i got new tires. the mechanic (NTB) suggested that i have the tie-rods (3 of 4) replaced before getting an allignment due to their current condition. is this a common replacement for a 2000 model w/ almost 70k miles?

thanks again guys for all yer input :tu:

Just ask Terry to look at them and see what he says.. he wont lead you astray, not like those NTB guys would...
