Email change

As much as I hate to I am going to change my Email addy. After 6 years of having a work use EMails addy I cannot battle the junk mail any longer. I will post what I change it to folks. Apparently there is some kind of computer program that mines for Email addys off of websites and forums. I guess I should not list it any longer or change the format which it is listed like change to HTML.

those can generally be avoided by listing it as lightningtuner at tuning dot com, basically jsut don't use the @ and .

Spam is part of the new world

Eventually your new address will become spam filled as well. You need to have better server based spam filtering

If you want you can move your domain to this server and we can crank down the filters tight

Set up 2 emails - One for Advertising and one for responses

Have the email come in to the same box and use filters to move the stuff addressed to the ad addresss to a sep folder - you just cruie it looking for good ones and move them to the regular inbox and delete the rest

My SVTlightning addresses have been on lots of popular websites for years and thats what I do

I got put of some list somewhere and was getting about 70-100 spams a day. I had the filter turned all the way up and a junk fold would catch about a 3rd of them. I didn't see anyway to stop them so I could keep from having to scan 100 pieces of crap each day.
