These won't help you go any faster but these are still quite useful for a working class vehicle like the F250. First is a 55W flood pattern backup lamp. I will eventually wire it to an upfitter switch so I can turn it on for rigging trailers and such in the dark. Normally I use two but with the stock hitch connector on one side this was it. It is 100 times brighter than the stock ornaments.

The second mod is wiring the battery protection/idle up circuit to an upfitter switch. This is for when sitting idle for any length of time. It will idle up the motor to 1200rpm and even higher if it senses a drop in battery voltage. Apparently letting a diesel idle at too low RPM's is bad for the motor since they burn so cool. Something called wet stacking. So I just set the parking brake and flip the switch and it maintains the higher idle on its own. This feature is built into 05's it is an extra module on older models. Ambulances, tow trucks, and numerous other service vehicles use this feature.
