I'm shopping for a new truck, and would consider selling the "farm truck" privately if someone's interested. It's a white '00 L with 113,000 miles. Bucket seat conversion with console, Retrax roll top bed cover, Rhino Lining, PSP air filter, single program JDM chip, '04 rear springs, '02 Bilsteins, and '02 LED 3rd brake light. Otherwise stock. It's run a best of 12.84 at 106.5 MPH on street tires at full weight, but it hasn't been to the track in several years. I didn't buy it to drive it like an old lady, but it hasn't been thrashed. The miles are mostly highway miles, as my daily commute is 65 miles, of which 59 are on the highway. Nothing but Mobil 1 synthetic since break in, with changes every 5K. Intercooler recall replacement performed, currently no cruise control due to the latest recall, and the driver's side head was replaced under warranty at 50K after it spit a plug. No other issues. I'll probably trade it in, but would consider a private sale if someone offered enough to make it a break even on the trade + sales tax benefit to trading. Bottom line, that means a sales price of $12,750.

Might be interested in your console if you want to part ways with it

Is this because they are saying gas prices will rise 25 cents in the next week or so?

Hadn't even heard that, so no.

Also, not looking to part the truck out. I'll sell or trade it as is.

David,
Yeah, they are. I've known for awhile that my next truck would be a 3/4 ton with 4 WD. Spending some time in your H-D showed me how nice they are, and going for the ride after it was tuned convinced me I could be plenty happy with diesel performance. As a matter of fact, I could use a PIN. :tu:

Dana,
Unless ya'll throw me out I'll still be around.

Well the PM isn't from me because I drive RED trucks, but I know someone who really likes WHITE trucks and he is the one that sent you the PMhttp://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif

With a handle like MOONSHINE it would have to be WHITE --- HUHhttp://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/nana.gif

Wish I had the money to buy it Brian. Your truck was built the same day my old one was.

Still can't believe your dang truck ran that 12.84 with only a filter kit and chip on those street tires:bows

Take care,
Justin
