Well, with 750 miles on the new motor, I decided to go ahead and get a baseline on the new combo(refer to thread below for combo details). This is with the factory speed density(that's designed to operate a 220 RWHP motor) on a naturally aspirated/pump gas 351 cid setup. I'm hoping with some tuning, we can pull another 20-30 HP out of her. Also, the 10.5" Art Carr stall converter probably costs the motor between 10-15 HP on the dyno due to slippage. At any rate, the best of the three pulls was...

298.8 RWHPhttp://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/bash.gif ......so close to 300, and
352.9 RWTQ

Figuring 20%(conservatively) for drivetrain losses, that puts her right around 360 HP and 425 TQ at the crank. She was rated at 240 HP and 340 TQ from the factory. My G2 made 337 RWHP in stock form, and it's my hope to get the G1 somewhere in that ballpark before it's all said and done. Guess we'll see...http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/cool.gif

Thanks bro. Not too many stockers running around I'm afraid. Should have some fun with the Hemi boys though.:D

i heard it was a beauty and it IS... congrats on the truck... its the nicest G1 i have personally ever seen. I remember you bringing it up to my shop the other day and the lower part of the front bumper looked cracked and broken, and the closer I got to it I realized it was just BLINGING... it was so shiny and just looked SICK for a 11 year old truck....Im sure with some time, you gonna be smoking G2s soon, if I know 02BOLT....
