You have 6 months to prepare. I'll even give them to you at cost in return for some open track time:D .

That is the BMW M3 GTR I remember seeing it debut at Daytona in 99 or 00. Competitors 'victims' tried to get it banned. It was a M3 2 door chasis with a M5 badass V8 powering it. They revised the rules and said you must run an engine designed for the chasis. Which would mean the car would be limited to a V6. It was a wicked sticky in 00' a true cheater car:D .

Hans Stuck is an awesome driver. As crazy as it sounds, I have memorized the whole Nurburgring by playing Project Gotham 2 on X-Box.

Truly amazing driving. That is the epitomy of man and machine being in perfect harmony. The guy has the utmost confidence in the car... you can really appreciate this during the times when he goes out of the line to pass other cars (approaching turn-in at corners). That car is just nasty, and on race rubber you can see it just sticks like glue.

It appears to utilize some sort of clutchless upshifting transmission, too. I cannot see _that_ well, but it doesn't appear that his left knee (and thus lower leg) moves _at all_ on the super quick upshifts. Downshifts are another story, and he matches the revs with heel-toe shifting beautifully.

Yeah, I posted that link a couple of weeks ago. Nobody commented on it, and it got moved. Interesting.

Oh, yes... this is a great vid. The Nordschleiff rules, I think they need to open it back up for full competition in all racing categories. :d
