How many miles.......

How many miles do you think you have put on your truck by burning out? Every once in a while my dad asks how many miles my truck has and when I tell him he jokes and says that most of them are when the truck was sitting still.

May Dad uses the word "miles" to represent wear and tear, not actual miles on the odometer.
For example; They say every cigarette you smoke takes 12 minutes off your life.
or, Every time you do a burn out it takes 5 miles off the life of the truck etc.
