Gen 1 5.8L oil capacity

Someone look in their owners manual and tell me how much engine oil a Gen1 5.8L is supposed to hold...

My dipstick is screwed up and I'm have problems determining how much oil I've got in there...

can anyone help a brother out?

And If I remember correctly, 5 is low. I know this cause I had it changed at WalMart and that's all they put one time, good thing I checked it before I left.
