Let's make plans to cruise to Round Rock on the 19th of October. I've contacted the Guinness's World Record people to see if they are interested. We can try to get L's from all over the Southeast to show up. We could do a lunch/race/photo deal in Round Rock, and party in Austin that night. Come on, let's make it happen!!!

Why do they care about a woman who can pop her eyes out?!

Maybe we can add some zip to it and line em up and make one humongus (sp?) burnout and have the largest Lightning tire smoke out:burnout:

:hammer: Ok, I'm done

The 2003 Lightning fest willl likely make a larger picture... They are hoping for 300 Lightnings. See the NLOC.NET site for info

October in the Austin area is awesome. Probably could make it that weekend or the next. The track is about 65 miles north of Austin.

I'm looking into group rates for lodging on the North end of town. If enough people are going I will call Bonedaddy's (yes thats Bonedaddy's) and see if we could get a area to ourselves and priority parking.

I'm game, and I could do the 19th, but I could not make it on Friday the 18th, so I'd have to join a little late.

Bring on the hoe's! Can we make a request for a hoe? I'll take one about 5'3 - 5'5, 120-125 lbs, 18-24yrs of age....better make that 21-25 so she can drink, 18-20 if she's easy.

On another note: Not that I'll be racing, but who's gonna bring the flatbed in case someone breaks down?

As long as GM products are not invited, towing should not be necessary. :D

I think it would be better if we met in Austin. The ALOC guys would most likely like to join our activity and we can have all of Texas together.:) Since we will be in the ALOC guys' home town they can set up a track event and group picture for all of us.

Just a thought anyways.

There has been some responsiveness on the NLOC board from some owners in Austin and San Antonio. Hopefully this thing will get a lot bigger!

IMHO ........
We should get one representative from each group: DFW, Houston, Austin and San Antonio to liaison with each other.
If the meet is gonna be in the Austin area, those guys will know more about the area (hotels, eateries, etc) and as a assigned group, contact the track that can accommodate the large number of trucks.

I just hate to see this thread get so "outta hand" that the event gets $hit-canned ........

Organization will be the key. I believe that Talon has a Social-Misdirector that makes decisions like that ...... :d

What Mark said!!!!:tu: Do we have any volunteers that know guys in the other cities? I think this will be a lot of fun, we just need to get organised. I think the the sooner the better.:burnout:

I have made contact with the track and am in the process of gathering vital info. Will post more info as I get it. I have also glossed over some hotels (not "HOE-TELLS") in the north Austin area. I will keep everyone updated.

I spoke with Andre from HALO and he is concerned about racing that far from home due to possible breakage issues. We should all get on the same page and get the activities and schedule synced up

Well, if there is enough people, we could have a group break off and go racing. Don't really see anything wrong with that. Might even go watch or participate myself. Besides, where are we going to find a restaurant that can seat a group of 100+ guys with "directionally challenged" baseball caps?
