Kenne Bell blowzilla S/C kit for sale or trade
Well, I put the cart before the horse on this one... here's your chance to take advantage of my mistake. I purchased a K/B Blowzilla kit for my car (69 GT350 Shelby w/351 GT40 EFI) without giving much thought to the hood clearance issue.. and guess what... there is no clearance.

I paid 3600.00 for the entire kit including FMU and all accessories, it's new in the box, in fact, never been outta' the box. I'm gonna' sell it and go with a more conventional centrifigal 'charger. I'm looking for $3000.00 or interesting trades. I'm located in the DFW area. Contact me at mardyn@sbcglobal.net or 972-489-9347.

btw, s/c kit is for a '93 5.0L Cobra with GT40 intake w/A/C but should easily fit a Gen1 351 in a Lightning

Thanks

Please post a model number of the kit. Here is a link and pics of a Lightning kit. It looks like you need different intake and discharge tubes at least. If the snout is the right length then you will have to buy a set of pipes from KB.
The parts from KB may be expensive around 600-1000 bucks

Yea, because I'm working with a Gen 1 engine in my car, I didn't realize that there's a bunch of difference in the bracketry and manifolds for the truck installation... this kit is for the 5.0 GT40 style engine... it would probably take signifcant changes to mount it up with the throttle body on the opposite side.
Buying the different manifold from KB would be too expensive... to make the deal viable.

Please pass the info around to your Mustang buddies...

I'll take somes pics and post 'em later...
