There is new product called IESpell. It is free. I installed it havent had the chance to test it. It will spell check any thing you type in an IE form....

When I try to open it from desktop it gives me and Extract: Error writing to file common-english? Help guru dudes:tu:

Now there is an Iespell button built in to the forum - The Spell check button on the upper right of the thread entry form uses iespell... Very cool

It works, after you download and install. I did without issues, much better than using word and then cut and pasting your posts.

Hmmm...I remember trying to make it work. I thought the thing was screwed up and couldn't figure it out. So this isn't a new versian???

I know I never noticed that little check mark with abc above it.

I can tell you that my spelling has gotten worse over the years. Spell checkers aren't helping it either. Spell check has actually made folks lazier about spelling IMHO. I remember when we had to look it up in a dictionary to figure out the proper spelling. Your memory would lock it in better this way.

Now we just type like mad and click spell check when done...spelling errors corrected. We also have the times when we don't feel the need to care about spelling errors. :d

just downloaded the spell checker.. I am misspelling on purpose to see if it will work..


It did!!

although I am a pretty decent speller in my own right..

ie spell is built in to VB now if you are using IE to view the forum
