OK Doug, this has pappened several times now, so I gotta ask about it.

If I reply to more than one thread from the PC at work, everything works fine.

However, if I reply to a thread from the home PC it works fine the first reply. If I then go to another thread, and attempt to post a reply to it, it lets me type my reply, and when I submit I get the usual "Thanks for posting, you'll now be taken back to your post" message, but then it takes me back to the first reply I made. My reply to the 2nd or subsequent posts doesn't show up anywhere. Only way I've found to actually reply to more than one post is to close Netscape, and then go back in again.

Any ideas, or is this just more evidence that my wife has the home PC jacked up somehow?

That's no secret. I always blame her for computer problems. She's keeper of the PC at the house, and for some reason it always gives me more problems than my PC at work. Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that we have full time IT support and a T1 connection, could it?

going out on a limb here, but this sounds like netscape-specific cookie timestamp issues...just a thought...what version of nutscrape you using?

Beats the h*ll outa me. I just use the damn thing. My guess would be the latest version. She's always downloading a new version of something or other.

Can you tell I'm not a techie?

Nutscape works worth beans with vbulletin (this forum software). Known issues. Go get IE and your problems will disappear.

Just find your IT guy at work and ask him what the hell is going on with your home pc. IT guys love that! :D
