Everytime I leave and come back, I have to log on again. Did you change something about the cookies?

Thanks,
Rocks

I am getting tired of logging in after being idle for more than 30 minutes:mad: I looked through the setting to see if I had some kind of "time out setting" but did not see one.
I also DO have the box checked to "Remember me" and still keep getting logged out...............and I don't have to delete my cookies:rll: I may want to bookmark that sight later:evil

Sorry Guys I didnt see this till today -

I have been at an off site meeting since last week.

There shouldnt be any cookie issues - Nothing has changed recently.

If there was a coookie related problem it would impact everyone...

I bet you have a disk cleaner or porn wiper installed that is deleting your coookies for you ....:rll: :rll:

Anyway - If you can narrow down the issue Ill take a look at ot form the server side BUT we have an average of 40-60 registered users people a day on the site and no other complaints.

Seems like an "idle time out" type of issue. After working on other things for more than about 30 minutes with no activity on the board, when I click "new posts" it shows me not loged in.

In searching the support forum the suggestion they offered in sim9lar cases was to delete all your TALON cookies.... open the cookie folder hit F3 to open search search for talon then delete the TALON cookies

I cant imagine what changed 4 days ago that would have caused this BUT its something to try

Same here Doug,I use my work for the site while on "breaks & lunch" and at my house and I get the same. At first I thought it was because I hadn't logged in at home in more than a month, but same thing at work and I use it daily.

Ok - It looks like this is a local cookie issue. i was off site at a meeting since Sat - I havent made any changes to the site in that time....

Print this and close all your browser windows and turn off all firewalls and cookie stompers

Then open my computer, then open the cookies folder
The folder might be in a couple places

C:\windows\cookies
or C:\documents and settings\username\cookies

Then hit F3 and search for talon - it will find any and all TALON cookies, delete them.

Then try again. The cookie delete thing in the browser doesnt work all the time. AND you have to have all your browser windows closed to get all the cookies...

Hey Doug,

Wierd thing. I have a new laptop....H.P. My problem started when I started using this new laptop.
I also have a Dell laptop. The Dell worked just fine, so I tried the little trick you mentioned on my H.P. about 2 days ago....It worked and has not done it to me since. I do have a cookie stomper installed, "Adsubtract...Pro versian" Maybe it did some kind of weird crap to cause it....I dunno...but I am fine now and have been for a couple days.

I am glad it is happening to the other guys...and I just wanted to say....http://www.svtgalleries.net/gallery/data/500/226smilies-6381.pngto all my friends who did not give a sh!t when this issue was my problem only.
