Well, despite the forecast last night, several of us took a chance and headed out to Ennis. We were hoping for some mid 50* temps, but it wasn't to be. It got down to 64*-67*, and that was about as cool as it got.

To make a long story short, she has the stock long block, all the bolt-ons, and a Kenne Bell(2lb lower and 3" upper) making 15psi of boost. The file is set up to shift at 5200 rpm, and has 16.5* of timing advance. We're leaving some performance on the table in an effort to keep the stock rods in the dark. However, she's still running pretty hard for a 4800lb(w/driver) pickup truck.....

60'......1.648
330'....4.818
1/8.....7.489
MPH....90.90
1000'...9.799
1/4.....11.767
MPH....112.38

I was hoping for a little more MPH, but I don't wanna turn up the wick any further in fear of hurting something. Thanks to PR for helping me to reach this goal.:tu: I still can't believe I have a solid 11 second TRUCK!:nana2

Take it easy!

LMAO! Yea, but they weren't biting on the invisible bars hidden in the bed!:eek2: That lady is tough too! I thought about buying a fire jacket. That way two out of three (helmet and fire jacket) ain't bad....right:rolleyes:.

Oh well...Later.
Rob

BTW, Wayne...did they say anything to you at Hallsville, about the absence of a roll bar?

No, Hallsville is IHRA track not NHRA...you can run 11.50 before needing a roll cage on IHRA tracks :D
Ya, the lady at Ennis has NO sense of humor :nono:

Cool! I forgot it was an IHRA track. I don't believe I'll be running quite that quick. Some .60's would be nice, but reckon we'll just wait and see....:tu:
