A friend of mine has '90 Town car. His air suspension, or whatever they call that crap went out on him. He is talking like it will cost a lot to fix, which I figured it would. i asked him why he doesn't just put normal shocks on it, like most other cars have, with out all that electronic leveling stuff. My question is, does anyone now if that is possible? I told him I would ask.

I guess anything is possible, but at what cost? I think it is a pretty big hassle to undo the air suspension on those things. I had Lincoln Mark VII with the same suspension.. Not sure I would go there.

I think the additional weight of those stretch limos plus the potential weight they haul requires air assisted suspension. I think your buddy is out of luck.

Tell him to bring it by the shop and we'll quote a repair. It is usually a blown airbag and they aren't that pricey. 803 S Main St. 75137 972.298.6224
