Rare picture of Mark #2 and I racing on Saturday. This only happened about eleven times I think. I think he may have sprained his ankle from kicking me in the a$$ all day.

WOW, great pics doug. There are so many pics I'm surprised you had time to do anything else.
Pretty impressive turnout of Gen 1's. Wish I could've been there for real but after looking at the pics it almost feels like I was.

Thanks:)

This had to be the coolest event of all time! I don't even know the final total on the number of trucks, but it was by far the biggest showing of Lightnings ever. I am ready to sign up for next year! I met some of the coolest people there, and heard some of the greatest stories.

Actually,
Go Rila lost to "Silverback" but Mark #2 never beat Sixpipes on the light, he ran reaction times of .020, .000, and .004 seconds, so its the truck at this point, and yes I witnessed the .000 light at the end of the track and couldn't believe it.

It was a real bash and I thoroughly enjoyed it:beer::beer::D. They did not organize the group pic worth a crap, a third of the trucks were in the parking lot or at the hotel. They shot the pic 5 minutes before sunset:hammer:

That's true. I would have loved to have gotten in on the picture, but I didn't even know they were going to take one. About half of the TALON gang was out at dinner when the pic was taken.:Bullshit

I still think it was a great event and (since it was the first year) there need to be a few bugs worked out.

The only way I found out was we happened to be in the right-place/right-time and ran into Doug and said there was a group pic by the stands.

I'm like 2nd row off to the left a bit next to Stan/RUSLOW and behind Justin.
Imagine if ALL of TALON had shown! :nana2

Ronald

I've figured some of my MPG #s and two of the #s were 14.72 and 15.53 and that is with sustained 10+ speed-limit interstate driving back/forth from the event.

Wow, I had an .087 light, and if I was more computer literate I would post the other ~10 time slips(lost count when my ankle started hurting), the day that Go Rila was nuetered by the new dominate Silverback:D

I gave you a .202 head start and I still had that little light on the left side come on. :burnout:

I'm willing to bet that Go Rila won't need a "head" start in Hallsville too, because he is going to have some "head" work done, i.e. brain surgery or a brain transplant.
