It will be some time before Lightnings joint the move to the new F-150 platform. While that new truck Plants started rolling out of assembly plants this summer, the Ontario Truck Plant where the Lightning is built will continue to produse pickups based on the existing PN96 plarform called
F-150 Heritage models.
