Has anyone else noticed the little extra SOTP "umph" just a decent drop in temps. makes with your L? This is the first TX. "cool spell" I've had since mine has broken-in.

I remember a couple of weeks - a month ago + (alot warmer temps), nailing the L fairly hard and I was doing good to bark the tires, etc.

Note: Bone-stock '02 L except for 12" open filter and Terry's Loud-Mouth exhaust recently.

Today, I get on it about a good 3/4 throttle from an almost standstill (all the windows/back-glass open with the overhead temp. gauge reading 75 F.), and she WAKES UP!
S/C, exhaust, F1-GS's howling, etc !:nana2

Suzy's #ss-end was starting to walk side-ways for a second or 3, so I had to feather-back on the throttle and go on.

I always heard/read back-in-the-day on f150online/Lightning board and here on TALON, that S/C'd applications always ran best in cooler climates with more dense A/F mixtures.

I'm a believer now!:eek2:
