Not living in Plano and having only been there a couple of times even I can say the odds of getting popped there are pretty high. I got a ticket for 58 in a 40 and the guy was hiding in the bushes and jumped into the street with the radar gun in one hand and pointing to the curb with the other. :hammer:

I was NOT going 58, I was following my father-in-law who was driving a minivan and he is the slowest driver I know. Of course he didn't get stopped.

I avoid Plano.

I read threads pretty regularly here, but I must have missed something about speeding laws in Plano. Is there a link that I can read? I'm not much of a speeder (although I get TO the speed limit in a hurry a lot) but I have to drive through Plano pretty much everday.

Thanks.

Brook

Brook,

Basically, TX just passed legislation "under the radar screen" that says if you're caught "street racing", you can get your license revoked for a year, get jail-time along with a ton of community svc.
