From what I've seen...... Not a good sign. The frame actually looks twisted rather than bent.

You should take it into the ford dealership and tell them it just "fell apart" and you want it fixed under warranty.

does anyone know what that canister just forward of the spare tire holder is. That is on my truck and has puzzled me since I got it. It dosent appear to do anything.

Yeah, spring eye sheared, and notice the end of the axle is still attached to that tire along with half the brake rotor.

Frame on the driver's side twisted under, passenger side is twisted up a bit.

hehe, no worries here, Dana. I've been on the road since July 8th and I don't expect to be back until late Thursday evening. :D
