Whoa, Dana! Nice looking home and "Hef." party-palace!:tu:

We're kinda' sorta' looking for a house, but we're looking for something on the far-side of Frisco, etc. with a 3-car garage. Closer to Legacy, too.

Besides, that sorta' $$$$ is a little more than I want to bite off now. I'm looking to buy acreage outside of TX in the foreseeable future also.

Ronald

BTW, a little constructive criticism about your home-ad! :D

You don't have a gratuitous driveway/L "$-shot" in your ad! Think about it! :d

You have a point, but the house doesnt have a high level of curb appeal, you know a stucco ranch and all. But it does have a very nice driveway since there is a two car garage and an additional two car area for parking that is not in the way of the garage.. Plus the driveway could hold a few more cars as well.. We happen to like not having an alley, but some peeps like alleys, we like the backyard with the greenbelt, so no one behind us.. I could put a shot out there with the L, but then would have unwanted visitors that would just want the L.,... know what I mean? The L spends it time in the garage... the Acura is outside, along with the Suzuki...
The upside to the location is that I am only a couple of miles off of 635 and just few minutes off of 75... we can be anywhere in Dallas pretty quickly.. if you live and are going north to commute, you are going reverse flow to the traffic and dont have much to deal with.. Wayne gets here during rush hour from Allen in about 15 minutes... think about it.. the best thing for the buyer, is that all the expensive stuff has been done to the house, so no worries for a while...
The sign goes up in the yard this morning... we hope to have it sold soon..
Thanks for the compliments and the feedback... I'll make sure I post again when the virtual tours are up...
Ronald, let me know if you plan on stopping by to look at the amp install on the L, also, my stereo install guy is supposed to be here this afternoon as well.. maybe you can pick his brain for some ideas...

I don't think this afternoon is do-able! :( Meeting with Laney's "clients", then lunch with my parent's in Sherman/Denison and looking for houses in McKinney, Frisco, Anna or somewhere. Then meet "Masta' Tom" at Hooter's this evening

Gotta' try to exchange the 3 12' box for a 2 12" setup today/tomorrow too! :( Not enough hours in the day! "No rest for the wicked" ! :D

But, I'm looking at the bright side! I'll be driving the L the WHOLE TIME! :nana2

How does tomorrow afternoon sound? I have to go in to work tomorrow morning for a bit, but after that ... We want to see you 2 before you leave Dallas/TALON behind.:(

A friend of mine paid $250K~ cash for his "lux. apt." in Turtle Creek.

It's PIMP! :bows

.... but.....I'd have to go with "spaciousness" and "room to breathe" regardless.

Almost one month to the day after putting the house on the market with FSBO, I got an offer I accepted. There was another offer that came in a couple of hours later that I would have accepted as well.. Now Kim and I just have to make it to the finish line of closing on the house on 10/30 without the deal falling through.

Great news, Dana.
If their financing holds up, you should be able to close pretty quick.
.... Money in the bank .....:d

Thanks:tu:,
the inspection is on Thursday so that may be the last big hurdle.. for got to shave the door when we put in the new laminate flooring so we have someone coming by tomorrow to do that and that should be it.,. almost hate to leave it because now its almost perfect... :crying:

but I got copies of paperwork that these folks are good to go on the loan, so now its just a wait and see.. interesting note, we got two bids, one a couple of hours later for the exact same amount of money. And this all happened about 1 month from the time we put it on the market.. so houses are still selling in Dallas... wish us luck, now to find something in Erie.. have been through over 20 and none of them as nice as what we had.. oh well...

I don't think so!

I tend to take a laissez-faire approach to other people's "personal" affairs.
