Hey drag racing experts,

I ran my bike for the first time down Kennedale last night and I was wondering if there was a formula for estimating a 1/4 mile result based on a 1/8 mile timeslip? I seem to remember one...

Here were my two best: (Remember, first timer;))

60' 1.837 1.843
330' 4.805@77.41 4.892@76.25
1/8 7.303@95.86 7.335@99.84

Thanks for the help!

If it is a production bike I am sure the numbers are available. Out the butt I would say high 10's low 140's and a 750 or bigger.

assuming you lauch it okay. My launches are terrible. some smoke clutch through 1st and others just dump it and just wait untill it hits the power band . its up to you.............

Thanks for the link Mike, I remembered seeing that page before. I agree that it can't be extremely accurate if its just adding a percentage and not taking the acceleration into account but at least its something.

Yeah, the bike's supposed to do mid 10s but I was interested in how off my personal run was. My launch was OK, it was interesting keeping the front wheel under a foot in the air...
