Ok, sorry but the math part of my brain is freeze-dried today. :hammer:
Given: @60mph you can go 1 mile in 1 minute .......
I walk each day for +- 45 minutes and cover right at 2.5 miles.
How fast do I walk?

I recently took a physical test and ran 1.5 miles in 14.50 minutes/seconds. After that was a 300 meter sprint I did that in 58 seconds. What pace were each of these runs:confused:

At 6 mph, a mile takes 10 min. So 1 1/2 miles would take 15 min.

300 meters = 328.08 yards
1760 yards in a mile so you ran a bit over a 1/5 of a mile. If you had kept that pace for a full mile your time would be about 5.20 minutes. So you were running the sprint at approximately 11 mph.

I thought I was going to keel over and die! I can't remember the last time I ran a mile and a half. Not to mention it was 96 degrees and 82% humidity.

Way back when I was 40, I ran a 40:04 10K which is my best 10K ever. I think it came out to a 6:26 mile average for 6.2 miles. Ran a 48 minute 6-mile trail run last year in July at Cedar Hill State Park and almost died. Haven't run since.

Just the whole idea of physical exertion makes me queasy... <shudder>Logan, the whole idea is not just exercise. The first time you come upon a lady with a nice set of (oYo) an strike up a conversation, your stomach will feel a whole lot better. :D
Todays update: Suddenly your legs don't hurt anymore. However, the heart-rate and breathing still tend to be higher. :evil
