why does the GUI keep changing?

Whats the deal? It looks cooler, but like my grandpa said "if it aint broke why fix it" Not complaining at all, I love the sight. Just currious what is happening behind the scenes that keeps changing the GUI.

In the middle of VB3 upgrade - If you guys dont want to see the mess - I can take the forum down while I finish tweaking it- may take hours/days
