View Full Version : Putting my truck back together

Okay, it has been 5 full months and some change since the beast has run. I have bought two Corvettes in the mean time for transportation. In retrospect that seems a little overkill. I am taking the next few weekends off customer work and trying to get my truck back together. I can only take so many "where is your truck, when is it going to be ready" questions. I will still be ordering and delivering parts to customers but I will try to refrain from any large installs until I get this project out of my way. Thanks for your support and patience. May the world be ready for one mean L:evil

I knew that would happen before long. Damn, I was hoping to get the parts off it:crying: I know you will be much happier in a truck than in those silly-old-man-mobiles.:D

I had just about mustered up the money to finally give you a call to install the chip and filter, and this happens.....What a day

I can do a chip and filter no problem. I would like to work on my truck but I can't stop the PR workage:hammer: I have a customer coming from Arkansas to install an ATI D1 on his Z06 tomorrow. I will find a way to make it all work:beer:
As for you Alpine please don't make me touch this red car, you won't like it:nono: :D

Well I hoped to make a little more progress this weekend but you know how it goes... I have the motor ready to drop in and on the engine hoist. The truck is loaded up ready to deliver to the shop. Now I just need to beef the tranny a little more, and stick it all together. Here is a pic of the motor on the stand in all of its glory:bows

If anyone has a burning need for a 600hp forged long block I will install this one and tune it for the smoking deal of $10K:D I'll even throw in a ported intake and PR super sneaky blower;) Ask JD, it's a deal:twitch:
