I was just out trolling NLOC and came across soem info on a hotel they have got for the event, with many rooms blocked off for the event. It is the Capital Plaza Hotel, and info can be found here:

http://ratesandavailability.com/findhotel.cfm/_10210912

Sounds like $79 per night, but I don't know availablility yet. I'll try to call today for details on the number of rooms available for each night.

Anyway, just getting this going. I still need to get a good idea of the number of guys going.

I'll post more info as I find it.

I just spoke to a person at the hotel. There are plenty of rooms available for $79 per night. You will need to call and make your own reservation. I have not reserved a room just yet, but I'm planning on it soon. The direct-dial # is (785)431-7200. Tell them you are calling to take part in the National Lightning Owners Club deal.

I'm in but going the camping route to be close to the action:tu:

Just a reminder pre-registration (http://www.nloc.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41927) is going on over at NLOC.

Save $15 if you're a NLOC member.

Everyone is more than welcome to camp around the motorhome I'll have up there. My Mom and Dad are driving it up there on the 26th, so it will be there Friday evening. It has outside lighting, electrical outlets, satelite hookups on the outside........the only way to camp!

May have to invest in a tent...however, we will need showering facilities...it'll probably get pretty rank around there after a day or two.

I'm looking for a vacation day or two so I can go. I guessed that I would drive untill I found a place to rest. An hour away would not be to bad.
