The boat for sale is a 2004 Boston Whaler Sport 130. It has every available factory option, along with numerous extras and upgrades. At 13’3” long, with a 5’11”beam and weighing just 600 lbs., the boat is not only nimble and maneuverable, but handles rough water surprisingly well.
The boat has the following factory options and upgrades:
· Two step extendable reboarding ladder.
· Hull paint below the water line that eliminates bottom fouling. Hull paint isa specially formulated sacrificial black paint that resists scum, barnacles, bearding, or other marine growth from attaching to the hull.
· Boston Whaler Comfort Package that includes snap in padded cushions for the helm, both bench seats, seat backs, and the entire forward deck.
· A full Boston Whaler Bimini top.
· Raytheon depth/fish finder with bottom look, side look, and split screen capability.
· Sony AM/FM CD stereo with detachable faceplate and an auxiliary input jack for use with an MP3 player.
· Vertex 25 watt 16 channel marine band transceiver with built in weather channel and submersible microphone. The Shakespeare fiberglass antenna is on alockable pivoting mount so it can be stowed below the grab rails, but quicklyraised for use.
· An illuminated Ritchie liquid dampened marine compass that compensates for pitch, yaw, and heel.
· Standard navigation and anchorage lights.
· A custom fit storage cover with two stays to prevent pooling. The stays are equipped with ventilation mushrooms so that the boat remains dry and mold/mildew free, even if the cover is put on when the boat is wet.
· A built in anchor locker/cooler/livewell with a thru-hull drain fitting.
· Stainless steel grab rails.
· Although not required on a boat of this length, a fire extinguisher is mounted behind the helm seat.
· Comes with two 6 gallon fuel tanks.
· A new battery was installed May 2013and is equipped with quick disconnect leads for a Battery Tender trickle charger.
The boat is powered by a 2004 Mercury 40 HP 2 stroke outboard (Model 40ELPTO). The motor has power trim/tilt as well as oil injection. The water pump impeller has been replaced every other year (as recommended by Mercury), with the last replacement in September 2012. The motor has been fully winterized with fogging oil at the end of each season. Lower unit oil has been replaced annually. Steering and throttle controls are also Mercury.
The trailer is a Karavan galvanized steel trailer made specifically for the Sport 130. In November of 2009 the trailer was completely rewired and submersible LED taillights were added. New tires and a spare tire kit were installed. Tires have less than 1000miles on them now. Wheel bearings, races, and oil seals were replaced. Since that time the bearings have been removed, cleaned, and repacked at the end of each season. A new winch and winch strap were installed in 2010. The bunks and carpet were replaced in July of 2012, and the keel roller was replaced in May2013. At this point everything on the trailer has been either upgraded or replaced with the exception of the frame, wheels, springs, and fenders.

Other notes–
· The boat will seat 4 comfortably (5in a pinch).
· It will pull a tube with ease. I’ve never tried pulling a skier with it.
· The boat will easily cruise all day on less than one tank of fuel.
· With two adults and gear on board the boat planes quickly and will maintain plane at just 3600 RPM.
· With two adults and gear on board the motor will turn 5300 RPM and deliver a GPS verified top speed of 36 MPH. The prop is a three blade Mercury10.75x13. . Rated maximum RPM is 5000-5500 RPM, so it’s perfectly propped.
· With a draft of less than 6 inches, the boat can safely operate in as little as 2.5 feet of water.
· I also have a binder with manuals and documentation for the boat, motor, trailer, stereo, marine radio, and depth finder. 3976 39723974 Asking $7,250
