I agree... no way that truck gets over $20k in today's market. I don't care how well it is kept. My (well...now my son's) '04 DSG with 31k miles wouldn't get $20k, and I bet its in as good or better shape than that one. If it had 2k miles, then its a true garage-queen.

Sounds like a beautiful truck. Maybe he'll come down in price significantly.

I was thinking 18 would be a good deal, thinking it might be a good one to put away if the price was right.

I just sold my '04 back in January, low miles, very clean, and quite a bit of money put into it for 21k. And to me that was a good deal. No way would I pay 25 or even 20k honestly for a stock '03, with what is available out there today. Shop around, here's the condition mine was in when it sold.

Mine was "supposedly" a one owner prior to me. Never verified for sure....but it wasn't on his list of things he had done to the truck. So who knows for sure who did what. I never did anything to them besides clean them though. :d

I loved the look with chrome - you could buy the rims from ford chromed and some dealers MAY have offered them but they werent a factory option in 2000 or 2004 - the reason I know is I paid the big $$ to upgrade both my 2000 and 2004

I prefer chrome as well most times. Especially so on silver. Just something about that combo that stands out to me.

It wasnt stock or an option in 2002 either.. had to get them either aftermarket or from SVT.. believe me, I have had both..
