Looking into buying some drag radials. I was looking at the new Mickey Thompson DR's 305/35/18. Then I noticed that Nitto has a 305/35, 305/40, and 305/45. Not sure if I should go with the 35 or the 45's. Would love some opinions.

I would love to go with a 17" wheel, but then I would have to buy tires all the way around. On top of the price of the wheels. By the way, are those the Centerline Matrix wheel? If so, that is the same wheel that I have on order.

35 series are for cars and require a 11-12 inch wheel.

That's why you're the man. That should make the decision easier. Thanks Terry.

If you don't mind me asking, what are the back spacing on the wheels?

Any problems with fitting the 390/40r17 tires on the wheel? Also, what size tire did you go with on the front?

Thanks for all the input. I decided to stick with 18s. I have centerline making me some 18x11's and placed the order for some M&H 325/40r18 drag radials. It will take them 4-5 weeks to make the wheels. I'll post some pics. when I get them on.

Cool deal. The height is the same as the Nitto DR and a little wider as well. I went with 17's because I wanted a taller/wider tire. The height on mine are 29.5 and the width is 14.2 :icon_biggrin:
