They are all painted stainless - which I dont get

why paint stainless ?

i guess its painted to make the barrel, reciever and trigger all match

stainless - aluminum and plastic

It was in the Thursday ads, and those are now gone.. It clearly one of the sports stores but am pretty sure it wasnt Academy.. sorry..
I think they paint it to take the shine off of it for stealthy hunting.

the reaserch I did shows that the couple customs at the gun show that I thought were pricey really werent
THey were true stainless

lots of people are growing disgusted with Ruger based on the paint issues

Lots of those at the show yesterday or just like them.. althugh they were more money than the cheapie 10/22 we saw
