We traded in her black 98 back in 12/07. We recently purchased a set of Ruff wheels. They're ok for the time being but I think we're going to pick up a set of CCW's or Fikses in the near future.

Here's a couple pics with the old set of wheels. I think most of you will prefer them over the new.

And the new w/ the SLP fin. The wheels are 19/20 combo. Oh yeah, and for shits and grins I threw on a spare set of stripes I had laying around.

Old wheels are nicer IMO... new ones look to blingy.

Nice car overall! Stripes look clean too...

I am kinda stuck between the two. I like the old wheels because they look more stock, but the new ones look pretty badass and are definitely a different kind of touch than the norm. Sick looking car with either set of wheels.

A set of CCW's would look totally badass on that car though. :tu:

Those were the ones that I had in mind. It's quite an investment brand new, but damn those wheels are nice.

Great taste!!! :bows

That's what I'm talking about! Deals like this come around frequently. I'm pretty sure these wheels will stick out a tad more than I would like since they were ordered for a mini tub. Never then less, that is the kind of deal I'm looking for. I should be able to get close to 1,500.00 for my current set up. Investing an additional 1,000.00 to 1,500.00 will be a piece of cake.

Fikse FM5's. Understated, but very classy...simple to keep clean and polished up nice.

Beautiful car, BTW.

This is true. I suppose it all depends on the deal I come across at the time.

+1, your wifes vette is sick. :bows

My friend just got those stripes on his 98 black C5 in silver, then changed the corvette on the back to silver letters as well. A vette will be my next whip fa sho.

Look what i just found. I'm getting ready to leave the house shortly to pick these up. He's letting me have them for 1600.00 cash. He claims Zero curb rash.

Well damn! I sold them before I could install new rubber. It appears there is no market for the Ruff racing wheels right now. We need the extra dough to have the cataracts removed from my little yorkie. Besides I think I prefer the SP500's.
