I posted this over on the NLOC, but I figured I post it here too.

On my first day back from school(back in December for Christmas) I was on my way back from the shooting range when a nice new Cadillac SUV jumped out in front of me(:hammer:), so after dealing with the insurance company they finally totalled it about a week ago. I'm thinking about trying to buy it from them depending on the price, but for now I really need a truck to get me and all my stuff back to school so if anyone has a Gen 1 for sale in the area please email me at L93RedSVT@yahoo.com

Kinda hard to say from the pics, but depending on the damage, I'd buy it back & fix it. Any serious frame damage? If the frame horns are collapsed, that's a pretty easy fix. Other than that, looks like it just needs a new front clip, A/C condenser & radiator... no too bad. What did the caddy look like?

Sorry about your accident, but fixing a wrecked 15 year old vehicle doesn't make any sense from a cost and time standpoint. You will find another >20 things that are wrong over time.

Obviously there are exceptions for those that have the time and money, as some of the nicer/faster G1s around here were once wrecked.
Find another G1.

I tend to agree with Mark on this one the market is depressed enough to buy someone's work at a bargain.

I was going to buy it back and fix it, but I found a nice 94 so I may be back in black, wish me luck.
