I get these damn party kids back by warming up the F250 at 6am on Sunday and Saturday mornings, lol:evil

At 26 degrees it sounds like a box of rocks and idles itself up to 1200rpm:D

Shit, I need to you park outside my building one morning then. :evil It's a loony bin around here sometimes during the week too. I think they started letting the Quad C kids live in here recently. :bs

Do you at least have heated seats?

I also like the pit stop feature. I use it weekly at the post office and getting coffee in the morning. I can leave it running and lock it up. I used it for security the other day. It was dark and I had some stuff in the cab. So I parked facing the store but people could not see through the tinted windows. So I left it idling with the parking lights on in pit stop mode to simulate someone sitting in it. It worked like a champ. Most folks won't approach a big dark rumbly truck.

Terry, is this part of your auto security system? if so, what system do you use?

Clifford Matrix 3.5 the new one is a 50.5 or like that. Yes it is the alarm system with two way paging. If they break in or touch a pedal it shuts down, sets off the alarm and pages the remote. It is also wired to my enclosed trailer when I am towing it the trailer doors are monitored.

I have just been over at the website looking around.. with moving back to Tx, I will have to get alarms for two of the cars and probably update the 2002 version of the Viper alarm I have in the L...looks like Clifford and Viper are owned by the same folks.. hopefully, getting the L updated will be relatively inexpensive. The price on the high end Cliffords with additional modules aint cheap.. but you have had good luck with yours, that means a lot.. They even have a pink model for Kim:D
Thanks
Dana

A lot of people on here dont like them, but the Car Toys off of Bryant Irving and I20(there on overton ridge) have always done excellent work for me. They sell clifford. There also bonded up to 2mil I think.

John I would say get with Eric at Auto Sounds in Bedford. They will do a nice install and not screw up the Porch in anyway. They sell the clifford and a few other brand alarms. Tell him I sent you and he will take care of you.

I've had one of the higher-end Cliffords in the F-150 prior to the L and I was very impressed.

It was installed at Car-Toys - Tulsa and was a fine piece of theft-deterrent technology.

Terry Im assuming it has a delayed start built in... how long do you have it set on? I've been thinking of getting one for the dodge, but right now I just plug it in before I go to bed and in the morning its ready to go all nice and warm!! However it would be nice for the evening house like when leaving work.
Sidenote: I forgot to plug mine in Sat night for Sun morning and DAMN 16degs made it sounded AWEFUL!! I thought man shes about to blow!! Im really suprised my neighbors didnt come out when it idled up to 1500!! Hell I went out to make sure no one was stealing it, it was so loud!! I'm too lazy to click a link, anyone know a price installed??

You can tie the alarm to the glow plug lamp on older trucks. I had to add a delay box and set it for 10 seconds in the summer and 30-40 seconds in the winter. The 05's up have a digital signal and it doesn't work like a glow lamp wire. Car Toys is about 500 installed. You can find the Matrix around for 150-250. There is a good tech at DFW Camper off Forest and Hines. These folks appear to be the cheapest. But you may have to buy from a dealer to get a pkg deal on install.

x2!

They installed a G5 series in my Mustang and then again in my L at a very fair price.
