:rll:Glad he stopped the sum bitches. I think I would have to think twice about stepping outside though.:nono: The sliding door of that van was open as it was pulling away. That would have been a nice place for a scatter gun to shoot from had they been so inclined. He makes a pretty big target.

He showed a ton of restraint. I doubt I would have been able to hold fire had I been in his situation... that being armed, ready, able, and then subject to my door getting busted down.

Those guys should be extremely grateful.

LOL... I need a setup like that. What was the address!! I need to pay that guy a visit!! I bet he will be setting up booby traps next!!

Question: What would happen to him IF it was said he KNEW they were breaking in and did nothing but wait and shoot. I know you can shoot intruders... but if you know they are about to come in the door (via security cameras) is it premeditated??

Not sure if I could have held off cracking some ass there either. Woulda been two guys needing a cane to walk around for the rest of there lifetime.

That's a great question. Thing is... how would he know if they were armed or not? They are moving quickly to the front door, and the camera isn't that good. They have intent to invade and burglarize his habitat. Beyond that, there's no way to know if they have any intent to harm whoever might be inside.

I guess I would hope I could use that kind of restraint, but if not, I'd rather be standing before a jury with my family alive, than being unable to stand at all.

I would think that he still would have the right to defend in this circumstance but a grand jury is still going to hear the case if the prosecutor decides to pursue the issue. He made a prudent decision.

HE would have consulted with his lawyer and made sure to say the right thing. He already was well covered saying he was taking a shower then in the kitchen. He did not mention anything about watching the camera monitor. I don't even have a monitor on my DVR most of the time. I only review it when I notice something awry..
