I have ran on 28's and 30's, I like the 30's alot better, I even made my fastest pass on 30in M&H's(wes'). Just throwing that out there:cool:

same hp i was at and it was good enough for a 7.5 in the 1/8th with a 1.760ft:hammer:

The M&H's seem to be very finicky for their launch technique. 30's are a lot of load to put on a stock bottom end. Sometimes a little slippage is a good thing. I have seen plenty of good passes on 28's. The Hoosier C07 compound is very consistent.

my personal experiences between the two is a higher MPH w/ the 30s in my car.
