I have a pristine Ruger Super Blackhawk in 44mag that has the Magnaport Predator conversion. The trigger is amazing and it shoots very accurately. I am not the original owner so actual round count is unknown but it's very tight and looks near new. I have put about 20 rounds through it myself.
Here's the info from the Magnaport website: http://www.magnaport.com/conv.html

The Predator
One of Mag-Na-Port's most popular conversions, "The Predator", a Ruger Super Blackhawk. The conversion includes shortening the barrel to 4 5/8"; Inverted Muzzle Crown; the famous Mag-Na-Port Process; C-More Sights; Action Job; Velvet Hone Finish, Omega White-Outline Rear Sight; Polished Hammer, Trigger, Ejector Rod and Center Pin.
Conversion Only, on your gun . . $565.00
Above price based on Stainless Steel Firearm.

I have the original box, all papers and aditional C-More front sight blades in various colors.
FTF in the DFW area $SOLD

That's a very nice gun, at a very fair price given the mods. Wish I was in the market for a SA .44 right now.

Thanks Brian. She is a fine weapon. I think the price was too low though because she's already sold and gone. :icon_eek:

Sharp looking revolver, Gary. Just curious, did you have the MagnaPort done with a before/after comparison? The reason I ask is whether the MagnaPorting is that effective in felt recoil.

Those Blackhawks in .44 do shoot well and are solid guns.

The conversion was already done when I got it but the recoil felt pretty mild compared to my 4" non-ported 29.
