Boys and girls, the week of the 1st Annual Internet Car Club Championships is upon us, and Mother Nature looks to be setting things up for us nicely. 74 degrees and sunny. Gates open at 11:00am. Admission is $10/person and ladies are free on the spectator side.

I hope you guys can make it out and come represent your site. I am reposting the classes as well as the revised rules and invited clubs. Hope to see some of you there.

Also there will be a free car show with awards.

All Classes will be run on a Pro Tree except for ET Street.

Super Street

Winner $400
R/Up $150
Semis $75

Entry $40 Car and Driver

Rules
1. Firewall must be stock and be in stock location
2. No Lenco or Bruno type transmissions
3. Only mini tubs or stock rear setup allowed
4. No Wheelie bars
5. Only one power adder permitted



Modified Street

Winner $300
R/Up $125
Semis $50

Entry $30 Car and Driver

Rules
1. Firewall must be stock and be in stock location
2. No Lenco or Bruno type transmissions
3. Only mini tubs or stock rear setup allowed
4. No Wheelie bars
5. Only one power adder permitted
6. Run on pro tree
7. Must have current state tags and inspection
8. Must have current and valid insurance card
9. No tubs or mini tubs allowed
10. Full front interior mandatory (carpet, dash, stock door panels, seats)

Also, we will be running Tnt and Grudge Races all day long. So if you want to come out and support your team, but don't want to race in a class, you can get a tech card for $5.00. Also, just a reminder that the team with the most round wins gets a huge trophy and every participating member gets a $25 NSD gift card.

I'd go, as I want to test out the nitrous I put on my truck, but thats a long assed drive and the last time I went, my times were 3 10th slower than I usually run.

When was the last time you came out? The track was purchased in March of last year and the owners have brought in some experienced people and spent about $200k in improvements.

I was there a few weeks ago, the track is nice. I didn't push it and ran a pretty good time.

I was there today to watch the Nostalgia drags -
learned that you cant trust the posted schedules at North Star Dragway
New Scoreboards aside - Its just like every other redneck track - they change schedules and close things down to suit their whims - no matter how full the track is :bs:Bullshit:gatling:
