The mountains are calling to me. I wish I ordered a set of chains last year. Then I thought I could my tires studded at Wal Mart but they only stud NEW tires. I am not sure if I should take my ATV or just rent a snowmobile. Here is a pic of I-50 one of many passes I need to traverse...

New Mexico weather advisories don't look too good. The folks in Colorado are a lot more optimistic.

thanks Doug I think there is too much differnce in the sizes to fit properly. It seems chains are a pretty tight fit per each tire. Stock F150 is 28-29" My f250 is 31.5 and I was thinking of using the 34's. Maybe I will just stay home and be warm and safe..

Warm and safe is good. I remember last year my Lightning doing circles on I-20. I wasn't going fast just could not get traction. Luckily nothing happen to my truck.
