Selling two (2) Goodyear F1 295-45/18 $350

Brand new and never mounted. Prefer local (DFW-TX) sale so there are no surprises and I don't have to deal with shipping them.

If you come off the price some let me know..
I need new tires soon.. Havent decided between the f1's and the Toyos yet...

I can get them from Disc tire about the same price and can negotiate a deal on the road hazard as well...

Speedworks is selling tires now.. Wonder how much they would charge....

Doug, ride with the guys that have Toyos. I drove a customers truck with Toyo's and heard a lot more road noise than F1's or Nitto's IMO.

I think the Toyos are a little more noisy as they are a tad harder tire but they are worth the money if all you want is a street tire... they last MUCH longer than the F-1s. Thats why I spent the extra $. Doug, if you wanna take a ride in the pimp moblie Toyo toting L, just lemme know. ;)

I've got 20k on my toyos and there is still plenty of tread on 'em (and that is with alot of burnouts). They don't hook as well as F1's though...

Doug,

Can you tell me which Discount Tires gave you the quote? I tried a couple of them in Richardson and the best they would do is to match Tire Rack's price ($192 each) plus tax. If I can get two more F1's for $350, I'll shelf the idea of getting 20's for now. :)

Tirerack has had them as low as $187 and I figured I could get them for that.. That is $12 per tire higher new than used. Plus If I buy them new I can get road hazard for $10-22 dollars per tire... So there is savings there as well...

Doug,

No, I can't offer road hazard warranty, so Tire Rack definitely got me beat there... :) FYI, I checked Tire Rack's prices and they are currently $192 each + $25 shipping (for 2 tires). Local Discount Tire would match that price + sales tax. Since my tires are still brand new (never mounted, with UPS shipping label still struck on the thread), I think it's fair to consider them "new" instead of "used". :)

Discount will generally match Tirerack, but they charge you a shipping fee on top of it.

Also if you buy his tires, Discount will still sell you the road hazard certificates.

treaddepot.com has the Toyo's for 179 right now, BTW. I have them and yea, they may be a little noisier, not grip quite as well, but they sure last a lot longer. You can get at least twice the mileage out of Toyos than F1s...

Wonder if the newly designed F1's will last longer?

I've heard the tread rating has gone up considerably while not sacrificing grip.

Yep but ther are few things easier to negotiate the price down on .. Tire Certificates are one and extended warrantees are a close second...

If you but the tires there the negotaiting is MUCH easier... I rarely pay more than $15 dollars for the RHW....
