My ebay user name was stolen this past weekend. :evil
Now there are over a 100 listings for IPODS with rediculously low prices that are to good to be true.

Problem is some have already been bought so I sure my feedback will be ruined:mad:

Trying to contact ebay admin to report the problem is a laborious process:hammer:

Contact E-bay on the live chat top of the page on the right and they'll help you with it.

I had E-bay lock my account a while back and say that they suspected "suspicious" activity. I had never bought or sold anything at the time. I asked them what triggered this and they looked into it and said there was nothing there that should have caused that to happen. I'm sure the administrators got my account by mistake trying to go after somebody else. Even so it took half a dozen emails, and over 2 months to get it corrected. Bunch of idiots!

I seem to get a couple emails a month from ass wipes trying to trick me into sending my Ebay or Paypal passwords. There have been a few that wanted to coax me into clicking a link to a websight. I usually respond to the emails with a string of terroristic threats and some really bad curse words..:evil . Most come back as undeliverable.

You may have been kidding but - DONT reply to spam

Spam is sent to millions of emails - most of which are dead - As soon as you reply your email address is now on the $$ valuable list because it works ..

The same thing happened to me but I NEVER got eBay to respond back or do anything about it. Finally I just opened a new account and forgot about the old one. They got my account info because I was stupid so I also had to change all my credit cards, bank account, etc.

That's a good damn question. All ebay is saying is that it was a third party that accessed my account unauthorized. They changed all my security questions but didn't change my email. That's how I knew it was compromised.
I rec'd 109 listing emails, then questions from buyers, emails for items sold... and so on.

I get those 'spoof' emails all the time but never answer any of them or even click to open them. If it is not in 'my messages' in Ebay then I don't respond to them.

I listed a few things for my wife's friend last week and then the account was stolen over the weekend. I suspect it was the WIN32 TROJAN virus Avast found last yesterday.
