Well after 5 years 3 months and 32,000 miles, the Vette, she needs new tires, what would be the recommended tire??

I glanced discount's web site but need some direction

also needing shocks and they have electronic suspension, GMpartscheap has them at about $500-600 a piece

Michael,
when I restored my wifey's '82 I got a lot of parts from here www.mamotorworks.com/corvette.I had most of the work done professionally but bought the parts from here to save money . I wasn't aware of any Vette parts store locally. You can have my recent catalog if you need it,I get a new one every couple months.

goto www.corvetteforum.com (http://www.corvetteforum.com) and check out their forsale section... it moves like LS1tech so you have to stay on top of it. AWESOME deals there.

I run Nittos on mine (DRs in the rear), so I'm not going to be much help with yours most likely.

I upgraded my '02 Z06 shocks to the '04 Z06 shocks and the ride and performance were much improved. But the suspension setup compared to yours is probably a bit different in how they are tuned.

I switched to 555ZR's non run flat. They are cheap and ride 10 times better than F1 RunCraps.

^^^changing those shocks is a popular upgrade. They also make sims for the electronic suspensions (like o2 sims) so you can use non electronic shocks with out getting check engine lights, thats what i'd do.
