Huge text, a lot of pictures......
We are back from our big USA adventure! :rockon:
We have been 2 weeks in the USA and had great time! Went 2100 mls. with the rental car....
Our tour started at Las Vegas we stayed there for 5 days. On the fifth day we´ve got the rental.
I did a reservation for a Mustang with GPS Navigation from germany. But they had no Mustang with navigation... After 20 minutes of trouble on the counter, we´ve got a Caddy STS V8 with GPS for the money.
After 30 minutes in the car i´ve got my first USA COP contact.
In germany they can´t get your speed when the come from the other side of the road, but this guy knew exactly my 84 mph.
He came from the other side, did an illegal U-turn and followed us...
After a short time i understood that he really wanted us to stop...
Parked behind us at the side stripe and talked thru the speakers.... 3 times the same... i understood Nothing !!
So i looked out of the window back to him and told him " ? " :shrug:
He came to our car and said...
"Move your car to the sand i don´t want to get hit":coolman:

sorry, i am from germany. don´t understood what you told me with your speakers."
Cop
"Ahh from germany........
So you have the Autobahn there ! Right?"
The roads with the high speed limits.....
A:
We have no speed limits.
Cop:
So whats the speed limit here?
A:
70 ?
Cop:
yes.. but you did 84 mp/h and thats not the Autobahn. 84 is this correct?

So show me your driving licence.....

I was searching for it around 2 minutes later:
Cop:
Don´t worry about it. Go on and slow down now.....
We went from Vegas to Reno, Sacramento, San Francisco, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles (Hollywood, Venice Beach), Grand Canyon Westside, Boulder City and back to Vegas.
San Francisco was the special place for our trip.
We meet the BALA guys and Alma and Roy had a great place for us where we stayed for 2 days.
As we arrived Roy told us we can stay at their Guestroom or use the house beside the house they living in... So we had our own house in SF for 2 days!
They went with us to a perfect Sirloin Steak Dinner!
And the next morning there have been the BALA Lightnings before our door!
What a day!!
Great guys ! Awesome trucks!
We had a fantastic day in SF and they showed us the whole city. THANK YOU BALA !!
The whole trip was very exiting and btw it was the first time i took picture of landscapes.....
Beside the Meeting in SF i saw 4 other Lightnings the whole time...
1 silver in Sacramento
1 purple with black stripes between Barthrow and LA
1 yellow close to Santa Barbara
1 red between Las Vegas and Kingman (Arizona)
I have to stop here ... i could write down a lot more things....
